Movie Fanart Experiments over the years
I will occasionaly be inspired by a movie to create some art. One of the ones I am most proud of is the above illustration for a 2019 movie called Death Trench. Check it out, low budget, but doeas a lot with it . I loved it.
This is one version of the VHS movie franchise art I created. I made about 4 versions of this . A great movie series.
The Beyond has to be my favourite Giallo director Lucio Fulci movies. Everything about it is weird, and this image does not do it justice. It does not even really relate to any scene ( apart from zombies of course) but it just seemed to lend itself to the film for some reason.
Hope this gives you an idea of the sort of movies I have seen over the years.

More importantly, remember the rules for drawing monsters, the weird and the wonderful!
1. They are not real, so draw them any damn way you want.
2. Forget stuff like anatomy. Who cares.
3. Use any tool and as many as you like as long as it makes an unholy mess.
4. Most importantly, have some bloody great fun!
